-
- I've recently installed an A2410 and the EGS software (7.2) on my A3000.
- After taking a while to get it to work together, I've decided I want to see
- what happens when I run SS in 256 color mode.
-
- I've downloaded the extra display driver for A2410 and put it in the correct
- subdirectory (according to the docs), and then when I try to start SS from
- my EGS 1024x768x256 screen, I get the normal startup window.
-
- I select graphics and make sure that SS is aware of the fact that I'm using
- EGS, and then when I go to put the external monitor driver into its spot -
- either using the "choose..." - I get a popup that says that there was a
- software error, reboot or suspend.
-
- Can I start SS from an EGS screen or must I just have it go to EGS (from
- the ECS startup that I normally boot my machine from?)
-
- SS runs like a dream when I'm running on the ECS workbench, its just when
- I try it on the EGS 7.2 1024x768x256 screen that I have the problem...
